JURASSIC PARK
Few projects have stood the test of time in terms of quality and ambition of practical effects as Jurassic Park. In spite of 2 sequels, spin-off movies and streaming series, what was accomplished in 1992 was historic and provided the shoulders that most contemporary effects people are now standing upon. Again working with Stan Winston, I was a featured artist having assisted sculptor, Mike Trcic, with the 1/6th scale Tyrannosaurus Rex maquette, as well as supervising the construction of the unused Baby Triceratops (that was eventually used briefly in Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World). I was an on-set puppeteer for nearly every dinosaur with the exception of the Brachiosaurus, and I have the dubious honor of having sprayed Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight) in the face with Dilophosaurus spit.
